Three investigations. Two missing men. One security leak.

Ena Green of Dudley Green Investigations is asked by a friend to find his half-brother, whom he didn’t know existed until he read his late mother’s journal. While Ena’s associate, Artie Mallory, follows a lead in England, Ena flies to Paris.

On her return from France, Ena is taken to a top-secret location for a covert meeting led by the head of the Secret Intelligence Service. She is commissioned to find the missing brother of a former Soviet prima ballerina. Only a handful of people knew about his pending defection; five of them are at the meeting.

The world thinks the Cold War is nearing its end. The Kremlin knows differently, as Ena is about to find out.
