I was never one of those people who wondered what happened after we died…but now I know.
I didn’t anticipate it being spent going back to school, but here I am. I don’t remember much of my life, though it’s slowly coming back to me, and I have no idea how I died. What I do know is that it was violently and before my time—aka, I was murdered. That’s the reason I’ve found myself at Scythe Academy in hell, training to become a reaper.
That’s where my focus is meant to be, but I can’t seem to let go of the life I don’t remember. Something inside of me is telling me that I have to remember how I died; that there’s something important about what happened. I keep being told that our lives from before don’t matter anymore, but they’re wrong. My death was about more than just me.
Now, I just have to remember what happened and figure out what I’m supposed to do about it. Should be easy enough, right?
On Death’s Door is the first book in a why-choose paranormal academy romance trilogy and will end on a cliffhanger. Our main female character will not have to choose between her love interests, which will not all be met in the first book, and there is MM within the harem.
