My sisters and I have shared a womb, a tumultuous and often violent childhood, a successful business we started from the ground up, and a deep, abiding love for thighs...I mean rugby. Now that my best friend Christopher Montgomery is in a committed throuple with the head of Kosher Nostra security and one of the beloved Goldman Girls, I guess our dream of playing semi-professionally isn't just a dream anymore.
During tryouts, I catch sight of Rose Goldman and as always, she steals my breath and any sense of reason. I make a play and I'm properly chastised. Won't stop me from pursuing her, just changes my approach. I implant myself into her everyday life and think we're making headway toward something spectacular, but then everything gets muddied.
