The Princess’ Merman

After running away and escaping an arranged marriage to a mad, brutal Prince she had survived the harrowing journey. She had made a new life for herself and she hadn’t any complaints, in fact, the heavens must have rewarded her and she had been given the opportunity of seeing the glorious Immortal Merman rise up from the water. It was such a wonderous sight that Hua Liang knew that through every lifetime she lived the memory of him would always be with her.

It was so disappointing and such a pity to wake up and discover that the perfect, magnificent Merman was nothing more than a decadent, pampered playboy and the new Magistrate. Not long after his unwanted arrival, a more dangerous deadly situation threatened not only her life but also the people she came to care for. She couldn’t take the risk of her true identity being discovered she had no other choice but to leave. So, no one would be suspicious she had to wait for the right time but disaster had a way of interfering and what made the situation even worse was realizing she had deep feelings for a man she couldn’t trust.

Disowned and tossed out because he refused to wed the woman his parents had chosen for him and declined to take the position in the Emperor’s court, it was the best thing that had happened to him but Zhehan also knew his freedom wouldn’t last very long. This was just a warning and nothing more, his father demanded complete and utter control over everyone and everything, including his children. He loathed the life they expected him to live and refused to obey all the rules.

Though he knew the only way he could ever escape his father’s dominance was to start making plans to disappear and never be found. He knew though that it wouldn’t be easy, probably impossible, but he was determined to succeed. What he never planned was having to deal with a rude little runt who made him feel things he shouldn’t. It was only by chance he discovered the secret and that all the disturbing emotions he was suffering were actually for a woman. Disguising herself as a man was one thing but learning she was the missing Princess everyone was looking for was going to cause a lot of problems. Yet in the end he couldn't abandon her, she not only meant the world to him he was determined to protect her.
