A novel by

Camilla Pigge was a lonely unhappy girl. At home she lived in fear of sexual advances from her chapel minister step-father and at school she suffered snubs and ridicule on account of her unfortunate surname and low self-esteem.
But, all this changes dramatically through the sudden death of her uncle who was a Hollywood film mogul. Camilla is whisked over to join the bright lights of the film world. Under the guidance of Sherry Abrams she gains confidence and her coltish looks develop into beauty. Her life takes on a whole new perspective of romance and glamour but the pace cannot last and eventually, disillusioned Camilla returns to England to gain revenge on her childhood tormentors and find the love in which she, at last, finds true happiness.
