The peace of Luke Kane's valley is broken abruptly when an outlaw's attempt on his life backfires and the attacker is killed by Kane's Indian friend. Thus begin the troubles in the valley as Josh Carter, former deputy sheriff and now an outlaw, brings in a band of lawless men with plans to kill Kane and seize his bountiful land.
