The trail to catch the blackmailers leads Packard to Buenos Aries and on to Canelones in Uruguay. In the lush, hothouse cities of South America, Packard is caught up in violence and intrigue, in murder and in a desperate situation in the Argentine's steamy marshlands before he arrives at the truth.
