I do three things really well: run my nightclub, race my car, and... well. You can guess the third.

My life is great exactly the way it is. The club is hot, the Camaro is hell on wheels, and commitment is for other people. It's all cool. I've sworn not to get married until I'm 35, and I'm definitely not interested in letting anyone tell me how to run my club--or my life.

But then Em walks in.

She's the PR rep who's here to boost our club's image. From our first clash of wills, one thing is dangerously obvious. This woman will either destroy me or be the love of my life.

It's very hard to tell which one it will be.

I didn't cross an ocean to be intimidated by a nightclub owner with control issues. I know how to survive on my own--and I bloody well know how to do my job, thank you very much.

But here in Nashville, I'm finding something I've never had before: a home. People I can call friends. It's all quite lovely, really.

Except for my boss, Brian Greene. I love that man like I love menstrual cramps. Too bad he's tied up in everything I'm working for right now. I swear, he blinds me with rage.

Unfortunately, he also blinds me with lust. Damn his playboy smile and too-sexy attitude. Damn the way he makes me shoot my mouth off, and double damn the way he gives it all right back. We either hate each other or are absolutely perfect for each other.

I'm praying for hate. I think.
