Ellis ‘Sailor’ English used to be the most decorated, most highly-respected captain in the whole United Space Force. Now he’s nothing but a grunt gunnery sergeant in charge of the worst fighter wing on board the USS Lightning Rod and the captain is NOT happy to have him around.
Loud-mouth disciplinary cases, ex-criminals, nobodies from the streets, and even a few who can’t fly at all—it will be a miracle if English can whip this lackluster bunch of punks into shape before the captain dumps him out of the service along with his pilots.
