Revenge is in the past. The Circle Order and the Council of Four accomplished what had been considered impossible for sixty years—they restored the Chaos Clan. The Greymores are no longer in disgrace. We are once again granted the title of a Great House, yet it brings me no joy, because inertia of thought is a terrible thing. Chaos mages are still seen as dangerous criminals, and not even an edict from the Emperor could change that. Besides, now that the Greymores have a home of their own, it’s much easier to hunt us.
So be it—let them hunt. Who would object when resources practically floated into our hands? We certainly aren’t about to refuse such a gift. As for everything else, we will handle that too. The Greymores know no other way.
