Violet Malvik is an author, philosopher, and Episcopal priest Geddes MacGregor once said, “No one in Scotland can escape from the past. Violet took many summer vacations in Scotland and gradually fell in love with the sights and people. She always promised herself to become a full-time writer, when she found something inspirational, and she kept her promise.
If she’s not behind her desk, typing away, Violet, a mother of three and a soon-to-be grandmother, is volunteering with her husband of 52 years, Gerald, a retired civil defense lawyer, at the local church or organizing a flea market or two. She lives in Great Neck, New York and owns a Welsh Corgi named Sara.
