Maybe the full moon isn't the only thing hiding a dark side…

After witnessing a motorcycle accident, it’s second nature to try to save the victim. I'm a nurse, after all. A nurse with healing magic. But the minute I enter Blackstone Forest chasing the trail of blood their body left behind, I know something is… wrong.

We all know of the monsters that lurk in the shadows of these woods, and here I am, standing in front of a man who should not have survived an accident like that, far past the tree line into Blackstone Forest.

What kind of idiot rides a motorcycle during a nor’easter storm anyway? And what self-sacrificing moron follows them into Blackstone Forest?

Now I'm stuck caring for a patient who looks more beast than man, and when he wakes far sooner than his injuries should have allowed, I start to wonder if my magic has grown stronger… or if the man before me is running from more than just a New England snowstorm.

Dark Side of the Lycan is a paranormal romance novel with fated mates, forbidden love, and found family tropes. It is inspired by Hades and Persephone and Eurydice and Orpheus and is written in first person, present tense with dual point of view (alternating chapters being told from male and female main characters). This is book one of a series that follows the same couple from beginning to end.
