I was just trying to outrun my emotionally constipated, gaslighting ex when I saw the creepy red lantern glowing in the woods.

Spoiler: I should’ve kept driving.

Now I’m stuck in some hell-circus nightmare where the tents breathe, the rides scream, and the Ringmaster wants to wear my soul like a necktie. Oh, and let’s not forget the two monstrous men who’ve apparently made me the grand prize in their haunted love triangle.

Grimjaw is a rage-fueled cage fighter in a cracked clown mask who punches first and broods later. Morrow’s a poetic, demon-masked executioner with a sledgehammer and the emotional availability of a tragic Victorian ghost. They kill for me. They’d kill me if it came to it. And somewhere in the horror of it all—I crave them both.

Meanwhile, the circus begins to fall apart. The attractions are alive. The shadows bite. And just when I think I’ve reached peak insanity, Death himself shows up—and he is not amused.

So yeah. I’m Rina. Trapped in a cursed carnival, fighting off eldritch horror, romantic doom, and my own crippling fear of dying alone and single.

Welcome to the Red Lantern Circus. Don’t worry—no one gets out alive.

...Love never dies. But in this circus, it might dismember you first...
