Ventress knew that an army deserter could be shot on sight so he headed into Apache country where they wouldn't think of looking for him. But it was a mistake and he was lucky to get out alive. Pretty soon he was up to his ears in trouble again. Moonshiners, renegade Apaches, gun-runners, killer mustangs and the law: Ventress faced them all with a gun in each hand. Then a girl showed up - and she, too, wanted him dead.
