Jill Nojack is a writer, musician and artist. She has rarely managed to make a living from the pursuit of her creative endeavors. Instead, she is a corporate drone who stays up late to indulge her passions. Those late nights produced her Fae Unbound series for Teens / Young Adults. She expects to complete publication of all four books in the series by early 2015. She is also currently working on the first book in an adult Paranormal Series entitled The Familiar: Book one in the Bad Tom Series.
Ms. Nojack has cred. Way back in the long ago, she romped through a degree in English. She followed it up with a Masters degree in Sociology. During her time at University she served on the staff of the schools literary magazine. She eventually stepped in to the editors role.
Shortly after graduation, she published several short works (stories and poetry) in small press. Like most young people who hope to pursue the creative life after college, she quickly realized you can not feed your family in copies or with pennies from the coffee shop tip the musician jar. Having achieved financial stability, and no longer having a family to feed, Jill is free to return to her love of writing as the focus of her leisure time.
Jill is best known in recent years as DJ Jill Nojack of the TransAtlantic Acoustic Show and Heart of the Night Show podcasts, which she produced from 2005 to 2011. The shows promoted the music of independent and unsigned musicians and were a natural outgrowth of her participation in the online indie music community and her experience as an internet DJ. The Heart of the Night Show had the distinction of being chosen by Microsoft for inclusion in their selection of only 1000 podcasts that were included in the Zune podcast directory at launch. The shows also received traditional broadcast radio airplay on KYOU radio in San Francisco.
When she isnt exploring her creative side, Jill enjoys laughing too loud and long in public and talking about herself in third person. She resides in the great American Midwest with a long-suffering cat.
