Medea

(2023)
(The first book in the Persephone Adventures series)
A novel by

Cara’s starting to regret leaving Earth.

It all began when she might,
possibly, have forgotten to pay for a bracelet at the Medea Station dress shop. She was then… (accosted?) (apprehended?) violently assaulted by the owner, an insufferable woman named Kristina. And to rub salt in the wound, her mom then sentenced her to spend the rest of the week slaving away for Kristina in punishment.

And that was all before she and the local pizza boy, Sebastian, discovered a girl trapped in a cryo-pod upstairs.

Why is there a girl frozen in a cryo-pod upstairs? That’s an excellent question… one they probably should have answered
before she got defrosted.

Too late now though.

Now the Space Force is aggressively hunting them across the station. Cara’s staring down the disturbing possibility that her new friend may have super powers. And at some point, Kristina’s going to start wondering why Cara’s never actually at work. Then she might call Mom…

So yeah, life took a few steps sideways. Turns out somebody on Medea Station
really wants their science experiment back. And they don’t mind killing to get it.

This is the Book 1 in the Persephone Adventures Duology.
