When Ashley Lawrence is fired from her job as a features reporter for her local television station after an on-air blunder, and is subsequently dumped by her boyfriend, she's eager for a change. It happens her out of town roommate, who coincidentally shares the same first name and surname with her, inadvertently provides the means.
