Redvest is much smaller than the other Dragons in his Clan, only the size of a small horse and the others make fun of him because of it. That wouldn’t be so bad, but he just can’t find anything that interests him. He doesn’t want to steal Treasure every day and fight with the other Dragons. He’s just bored, bored, bored. His mother thinks that Redvest might be sick , so she tells him to go see the Old Dragon, the oldest and wisest of them all. Surely he’ll have some answer to Redvest’s problem. The Old Dragon has an answer—but not what Redvest expected! He tells the young Dragon to go to a mountain far away, to a tree by a river and to sit there and wait. Excited, Redvest rushed to the spot and waits. And waits. And waits. But nothing happens. At first....
