To save her life, Anna Felby has to find out why somebody wants her dead.

Anna has fled her noxious family to find peace in the countryside. When she finds her aunt Geraldine dead in her vegetable garden, she realises that the family has followed her, bringing its venom with it.

Geraldine was a famous television star and soon, the press descends on her. One of them is the very persistent Harry Nichols, who seems to know far more about Geraldine and the family business than Anna does. But soon, it becomes clear that someone wants Anna to join Geraldine under the sod.

Harry offers to help and despite her misgivings, she reluctantly takes up his offer. First, they must find out who killed Geraldine and why. But her family has secrets and will do anything to keep them... including eliminating Anna and anyone around her.
