Tempest's on-again off-again boyfriend, Rhett Blackthorn, gets involved when a member of his gang is taken in for questioning. Whenever Tempest spends too much time with Rhett, old feelings emerge, and she can't risk her heart on this moody fallen angel.
Then Rhett goes missing, followed by Axel Shadowsoul. Tempest begins to panic. Where are they? Could they be the curse killer's next victims?
Time is not on her side, and Tempest must find her friends before it's too late.
