Department 89 North Korean Trilogy
(2026)(A book in the Department 89 series)
An omnibus of novels by Mark O'Neill
For the first time ever, the three previously-published Department 89 novels - The Peace Emissary, Operation Eternal Vengeance, and Regime Change - come together as a trilogy.
When a high-ranking North Korean diplomat defects in Berlin with a shocking offer to overthrow the regime and make peace with the West, Department 89 is pulled into a deadly international conspiracy. An enraged Pyongyang dispatches a ruthless assassin to silence him — permanently.
Then the war comes home. In retaliation for the defector, Kim Jong-Un retaliates with a devastating terror attack that leaves Berlin burning and the country demanding vengeance. The German government unleashes its most feared weapon: Major Sophie Decker and Department 89, the covert black-ops unit built to eliminate threats by any means necessary.
But revenge has consequences. Six months into a brutal fight with North Korea, Germany is trapped in a bloody stalemate while terrorist attacks tear through the country. Allies are backing away. Public anger is exploding. And Decker is ordered to take the war directly into North Korea itself.
The Department 89 North Korean Trilogy is a fast-paced military thriller collection packed with espionage, assassinations, covert warfare, international terrorism, and brutal special operations. Perfect for fans of Daniel Silva, Barry Eisler, Mark Dawson, and Lee Child.
