Gearhead's Chains

(The eighth book in the Devil's House MC: South Carolina series)
A novel by

Six years ago, Gearhead told Briar Riggs he loved her. By morning he was gone.

She's the VP's little sister, raised inside the Devil's House MC, and she built a life with none of them in it: a rescue shelter on her family's land, a good man named Ash, and one door she keeps shut. Then a scared beagle comes through her gate with a number tattooed inside its ear, and Briar starts asking questions a powerful company can't afford to answer.

They don't send muscle. They send inspectors, complaints and lawyers, all of it legal and all of it aimed at taking away everything she's built. Fists can't fix that, and the Devil's House MC only knows one way to fight.

Chain wants his sister kept safe. So he puts the one man she can't stand at her side.

Gearhead can fix anything with an engine. People are the one thing he can't. He's spent years telling himself that leaving was the best thing he ever did for her. Now he's riding behind her every night, and the woman who's warm to everybody else gives him nothing but ice.

To keep her, he'll have to do the one thing he's never done: stand beside her in the open, where the whole club can see, and stay.

But Briar has kept a secret all this time, and it's about to change everything he thinks he knows.

Gearhead's Chains is Book Eight in The Devil's House MC: South Carolina, a steamy second-chance motorcycle club romance with a happily ever after.
