Wulf and Beau have nothing in common. There’s no reason for them to see each other at all. So why can’t they stay away?

Wulf’s friend married Beau’s brother. That’s it. They have no other common ground. Wulf isn’t certain they even like each other. They have nothing to talk about when Wulf finds himself on Beau’s couch. Neither of them calls or sends texts between unexpected visits. At least, not any calls or texts that matter. Wulf thinks they might be in a relationship, but neither of them has talked about it. Since Wulf works for a crime family and Beau has met most of them, he needs to figure this out. He’s never been good with words.

Ever since Wulf showed up at his door, distraught, several months back, Beau has been finding little gifts on his porch like a cat brings dead birds. Wulf is a little dark and a lot scary. He’s also intense and fascinating. Beau hasn’t been interested in anyone else since they met. He’s terrified to ask if they’re a couple because he has a bad feeling Wulf is a criminal. Ignorance is bliss, except Beau thinks he might also be in love with Wulf, and there’s a good chance Wulf is extremely hazardous for his health. Everything about them is a mess.
