When his father failed to return home from another drunken bout, June Bug decided to find him. He learned that his father wasn’t alone, but had joined with three other survivors of Camp Douglas, and they were riding north. Catching up with the four men, he learned they intended to settle the score with a brutal guard who had abused them at the camp. June Bug quickly became entangled in the trouble that followed, even going on the run with them. But he was determined to stand with the only family he had left.
