Nightmares are usually kept to dark nights, and deep slumber, but that just isn't so anymore.
Rachel's inner evil--an actual monster within--is set free when she sleeps, and if Adrian wants any chance at figuring out the salvation of Europe they first must contain the entity Rachel harbors. But you just can't put her down like a zombie. What if that sets the evil free?
But keeping her around, and muting that monster gives Evil a beacon to follow, and makes the annihilation of life with the massed hordes of the undead all the easier.
It's never simple, is it?
But saving a condemned world shouldn't be easy. Not if we want a second chance to do it all better.
Can Adrian stay sane, keep his friends safe, and trek across Germany to find more survivors, and maybe--just maybe--his lost brother Tommy?
