The Oberllyns must weather the breaking up of the family network as fully half of the worldwide family decides to immigrate to the Mars colony. While the Oberllyn Think Tank struggles to get the colony on Mars to be safe, independent of outside influence, and self-sufficient, Micah, Kai, and Sir Alex have their hands full trying to stop the imminent collapse of the earth’s climate. They find a most unexpected mind behind it all, an old frenemy of the family. How do you destroy someone who’s been dead 300 years?
Reviewer enthuses ‘Have you ever thought about space travel, being important, and having your world turned sideways? Then this is the book for you.’
One reader says: ‘Traveler sinks us into this family and doesn’t let us escape without a reconsideration of our own view of what can and might happen; sci-fi at its mind-changing best.’
‘Traveler is back with all the political intrigue, hard science fiction, and adventure her fans have come to expect from her tales.’
"You really have to read the post-terrestrial tales; they're engaging, exciting, and the closest thing I've seen in years to original creative ideas."

J. Traveler Pelton was born in West Virginia in the last century. She is still wife to Dan after 48 years, mother of six adults, a grandmother of nine, a Clinically Licensed Independent Social worker in private practice, a retired adjunct professor of social work at her local university, and an avid reader. Traveler fluctuates between writing Christian historical, science fiction, cozy mysteries, and non-fiction. She has published 42 books and over 500 stories. She is a fiber artist; loves making quilts, spinning fibers into yarn, crocheting, and heading up Springhaven’s Fiber Mavens. Springhaven Croft, her home, is a mini-farm where her husband, nine alpaca, a flock of spoiled chickens, five Siamese cats, five Pomeranians, a talkative Amazon parrot named Gizmo, and her aviary of canaries have formed their own Garden of Eden. Traveler enjoys the intersection of fantasy, possibility, creativity, and speculation. Join her on the other side of the imagination tree. She’ll be sitting there waiting for your visit.
