Suzy Quinn, new hire at St. Ninian’s Sanctuary Retreat Center, isn’t sure what she was thinking. Struggling with anxiety, she requires an emotional support dog, Monaco, to get her out of her house, and yet here she is a million miles from home imagining she can touch people for God.
Almost immediately she runs into Josiah Porter, the island’s new potter. Charming, handsome, and wise, he coaxes her out of her shell and helps her fit into the staff community.
