Wild rumors brought her to Siargao. What she finds there is wilder than anything she could have imagined.

Marine biologist Meera Kapoor doesn't believe in sea monsters, but she does believe that ancient mythology is rooted in very real creatures. And thanks to funding from a slightly questionable YouTuber, she's finally getting the expedition of her dreams: a trip deep into remote waters off Siargao, where something large and unidentified has been spotted in the deep. She's hoping to find a scientific explanation, or even better, to discover a new species.

Instead she keeps spotting a sea otter way too far from his natural habitat.

Her two companions make it impossible to focus on her quest. A devastatingly handsome boat captain who knows everything about the water and nothing about his boat, and a sexy surfer who's rumored to know these waters better than anyone alive. The longer they're alone on the water together, the harder it is to remember her mission.

But the secret they’re both hiding gives her more questions than answers, and Meera must decide what's right: protecting the men she cares for, or exposing her discovery to the world. Because now she knows the truth: dragons are real.
