A body washes ashore on a remote archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Normally the incident would go unnoticed by intelligence organizations; however, this corpse is carrying the passport of Craig (Coop) Cooper, the U.S. Agency Deputy Director.
Coop, who is very much alive, is determined to discover the dead man’s true identity. He books a flight to the Maldives, while his partner Zoe Fields heads to Tel Aviv in search of the gunman who, six months ago, put a bullet into both her and Coop.
Coop and Zoe search for a connection between these happenings only to get entangled in a web from which escape is difficult.
