(2026)(A book in the Eatons of Trent series)
A novel by Nicki Pascarella
This is a steamy historical romance with dark gothic elements.
Doctor James Clayton fell in love with Rose Beaumont the moment his guardian introduced them. Now he is a private physician to an eccentric widowed baron, and he is certain Rose will make the perfect governess for the baron's grieving children. When Rose Beaumont’s longtime friend, the brilliant and kind Jimmy Clayton, writes asking her to come to a castle on the coast, Rose leaps at the chance to leave her uneventful life behind. She quickly discovers that the young boy she once adored has grown into an intense man. Never in a million years would she have guessed that sweet Jimmy would end up assisting a nefarious baron hiding dark secrets.
Together, after almost a decade apart, James and Rose must trust each other as the world around them spirals into madness.
