With only days to go until Jolly Old St. Nick’s arrival, Detective Jude Byrne trips over his Christmas spirit and takes a bad tumble down the stairs. After being rushed to the hospital, he’s admitted into the intensive care unit and put into a medically induced coma to give his injured body time to heal.
Psychic Copeland Forbes is beside himself. Not only hadn’t he seen Jude’s accident coming, but he froze when his husband needed him most. Before Jude is taken out of their home on a stretcher, Cope begs his badly injured husband to get well, musing aloud that he wouldn’t know how to carry on without Jude by his side.
