The Leopard King's Huntress
(2027)(A book in the Wylding Kingdoms Paranormal Romantasy series)
A novel by S C Principale
Someone has placed a deadly huntress in the Leopard King's court...
Out of all of the Winter Kingdoms in Wylding, Endymere is the most dangerous. The isolated, icy mountain fortresses ruled by rugged clans of warrior lords and one young, dangerous king breed fierce allegiances and provide rich fodder for rebellion.
When Rin challenges the hold of the Band of Three, his rival slips a dangerous pawn into the Leopard King’s sanctuary… A lady of the court meant to catch his eye, win his heart—and end his life.
Lady Eva has always loved Lord Gol, ever since they were children. She’s watched him rise to power through cleverness and wit, although some would call it treachery and deceit. When Gol asks her to pretend to love another to secure their future together, she hates to acquiesce, but fears refusing. Since the only sure path to the throne is through marriage to the handsome, sometimes arrogant King Rin, Eva knows she must hunt the Leopard King within his own palace fortress.
It’s a dangerous game, especially since Rin is different in private than he is in public. How can a fierce warrior treat his much weaker queen like treasure, and show her the respect that Lord Gol never has? How can she be falling for the man she’s supposed to slay? How can she not, when his ‘tolerance’ is sweeter than any attention Gol has ever given her?
And what will happen to this delicate Hare shifter when the Leopard discovers his bride is an assassin? Someone’s power will shatter in Endymere. Will Eva and Rin’s hearts shatter with it?
The Leopard King’s Huntress is a steamy standalone paranormal romantasy in the Wylding Paranormal Romantasy series.
