Ezaline
No one can control me, not even Earth's elite soldiers. But I like a challenge. Apparently, my intoxicated self thought that bigger, stronger, and feisty alien alphas were a better idea for my future. That's what happens when Earth's military kicks me out of combat service and locks me away in a design lab, building new weapons for the fight against the Nebulous Empire. My pent-up frustration from isolation has me drinking out of boredom and desperate for a change.
That hangover was the worst.
The Alien Bride Race I entered should have given me green armbands because of my weapons knowledge. But instead, ABR bands me with red because of my runaway mouth and my lack of adherence to stupid rules. Now I have a host of the largest, most savage alien males on my tail, and I've never run so fast from my regrets in all of my life.
Many try to capture me. Only a brutish Thorian named Ramage manages to break through the crowd. When a tussle of other alien males causes a rockslide down Mount Milli, Ramage carries me to safety. He is capable, but he is hurting and hiding his true self beneath sarcasm and projected apathy.
After he shares the struggles of his world, I find the outlet I need. Planet Alpha Prime is less developed and must upgrade its battle capabilities to survive. But it is a cruel world at war with an even more vicious enemy. It is why Ramage hides his tender side. Gentle hearts don't survive in his galaxy. And for the first time in a long time, I discover something worth fighting for: a secretly sweet, muscled beast of a blue alien who wants me at his side until the last stars die.
Ramage
My Hunter is weary from battle and in need of recuperation, but the shadow soldiers never stop. At our clan meeting, my chief selects rune stones from the battle cauldron of males who will leave war to rest and mate. My sword's rune dims. It is my turn to lay down my weapon for some overdue time off.
I do not like the idea of them fighting without me. We are in the middle of partnering with the Solurias from a neighboring system to build proper defenses against the Nebulous Empire. The Roscazkans are still recovering and need our protection. So I set my mind on picking a female quickly so I can get back to my duties. Then my Hunter sniffs out Ezaline, and my need for her becomes feral.
She is a snarky, curvy addiction that heals more than she knows. But she's as hot-headed as I am and has an itchy trigger finger. Ezaline is exactly what I want and what we need. I just wish she wasn't so eager to help. I cannot keep her safe the way I want without breaking her trust.
Ezaline thinks I've betrayed her. But the empire is more powerful than she knows. My little female doesn't like what I have done and breaks out, only to get caught up in a battle I never wanted her to see.
The consequences are devastating. She says she did it all for me.
Now I have to get her back, make things right, and hopefully find a way to prevent the Nebulous Empire from annihilating Thorian and Solurias forces and the only spirit in this warring universe that brings me peace.
