Rogue Fleet desperately needs shelter and a place to recuperate. We now carry the most important of payloads: human civilians, Titan cores from decommissioned brothers, and hibernating Creators and CyberTechs. We cannot justify taking them into battle against the Solcrue Empire, so we made the decision to find them a home, somewhere they can fortify themselves and be safe from the enemy.

We found the perfect place; it just won't let us in.

When our resistance contact, who gave us the location, grows ill with Augment Contagion Effect, I am sent in his place to find a way inside Desolation, between the minefields and defense weapons. I must reach his cousin, Astelle, and convince her to let us in. I wish our commanders had chosen a more charismatic Titan Brother, but they're sending me because I am used to crawling through the guts of broken ships. When I arrive, I am glad I took the risk.

Astelle is a wild-haired, free-spirited, independent woman with a quick trigger finger and curves to die for. And she's run into major issues caring for Desolation. Before anyone else can come inside, we have to bring the spaceport back to life. It is a far more dangerous place than I imagined, and her story is heartbreaking. I am determined to help her and stay by her side however I can. But getting her to trust me proves much harder than I anticipated.

Astelle
Desolation is a fitting name for the spaceport I maintain. It is just me and the spirits of the dead that wander these wrecked hallways. I wish they'd pick up a wrench and help. I don't expect to get my wish. When things start actually moving around and getting repaired, I'm certain I'm losing my mind. Then I see a pair of blazing blue
Titan eyes peering out of the shadows at me.

Castor is nothing like his ominous appearance. He's a goofy, quirky, caring, and curious Titan who's just trying to help his Brothers find a home for their human refugees. But taking on thousands of people will mean reviving this old, busted relic of a spaceport, and that's no easy task. Thankfully, handsome Castor is eager to lend his robust muscles to the cause.

When my long-lost cousin, Lenarro, boards, he explains the danger of the situation and what risks I run taking everyone in. He always shows up when he needs something and disappears again before he can return the favor. But my deceptive, jerk-face cousin has been through his own kind of torture. And this time, he's in serious trouble.

It's been years since I was last in a battle of such magnitude as the one that finds us soon after Rogue Fleet arrives. But with Castor's help, and that of his brothers, Desolation and its new inhabitants might just have a chance to survive, unlike last time.

A slow-burn, action-packed, one-love, spicy science fiction romance with cyborgs, action, and cursing.
