His cohort laughs at the one tool I have left. It's more for pleasure than pain, but it's all I could find.
The beastly ax-wielder pulls me behind the shield of his rippling body and confronts the enemy with the blinding fire of his blade. He doesn't want to hurt me, but the way his eyes burn into me, I know he wants something else. I watch him fight to protect me and discover a new kind of lust...for an alien three times my size. I must be losing my mind. But I'm open to paying his price if it means he can get me out of here in one piece.

We did not anticipate them returning to Earth so soon after the initial invasion. They captured an entire community of humans, killed most of them, and by our calculations, should have satisfied their bloodlust for a few more years. Word reaches my team, and we're tasked with neutralizing the enemy soldiers and determining why they've returned.
We take the fastest transport to the campsite and step out into utter mayhem. The Zevyrlon have captured all humans except one female, who crashes into me as she flees their weapons' fire. Her body is soft with luscious curves uncommon to Sha'kanin females. But it's the determination in her eyes, the way she fights when she has no weapons, that heats my mating core.
I'm not the only one who has eyes on her. I must rid the planet of the Zevyrlon scum and her devious ex before I can have her all to myself. I'll sacrifice whatever I have to if it means keeping her by my side, including but not limited to my life.
