Be my date for the holiday season or else…
I’m pretty sure most friendships don’t start out with blackmail. But that’s exactly the scenario I find myself in, after I mouthed off to the billionaire wine and spirits tycoon, Ian Zerlinger.
Apparently, he didn’t like me verbally putting him in his place. And he oh so kindly let me know by threatening to have me fired from the private airline where I work as a flight attendant.
But there’s a catch.
He’ll let the indiscretion go, if I agree to attend all of his fancy holiday events as his date.
I should say no. But I need this job because the last thing I want is to go home for the holidays.
But as I get to know more about the enigmatic Ian Zerlinger, I start to realize how lonely he is. Power and money aren’t all there is to life and I plan to prove it to him.
