A rising light casts a long shadow
With the skeleton banished forever and his friends recuperating, Nathan can return to his primary task: reforging the world into an unassailable empire of light. The task is tremendous but for a former game developer highly enticing. There's nothing he loves more than taking an idea and making it real, no matter what obstacles he encounters.
Unfortunately, Nathan will soon find that success breeds enemies of a different kind. Backstabbers, naysayers, grifters, and snake oil salesmen ooze from every dark crack and crevice, aching to sabotage his every accomplishment. It's not that there aren't scores of giant monsters and arcane labyrinths still crying out to be conquered, but Nathan will find that the dark takes many forms, and all are deadly.
