(2024)
(The sixth book in the Monsters of Jellyfish Beach series)
A novel by

Extracting a tooth fairy.

The crested mouth sprite, better known as tooth fairy to non-cryptozoologists, has almost never been spotted by humans. The exchange of cash for a baby tooth beneath a sleeping child’s pillow is the primary evidence we have that they exist.

Leave it to a drunken Florida Man, passed out on the floor of his son’s bedroom, to blow away the creature with his shotgun. There’d better be additional tooth fairies in the wild, or this means no more moolah for molars.

You know what’s coming next, right? Yep, the Friends of Cryptids Society demands that I, humble witch and botanica co-owner, search for more crested mouth sprites. I must help the society estimate the species’ population, as well as help capture one for scientific study.

Sure, no problem. Until additional bodies begin dropping.

And I learn that tooth fairies are a lot more complicated than we thought.

Welcome to Jellyfish Beach, a wacky world of murder, magic, and mayhem.
