I’m boycotting Christmas.
The urge to say ‘screw it!’ and book myself a trip instead of going home for Christmas has been overwhelming for years. This time, I finally gave in.
Now, instead of enduring snide comments and suspiciously sticky children, I’ll be watching the snow fall from a beautiful mountain chalet.
Alone.
