A brand new Mountain man adventure from Charles Ray and Gary Kamen!

After a hide skinner named Griffith kidnaps and murders a young Arapaho maiden, he is hunted day and night across the territory by famed mountain man Caleb Johnson, who is intent on avenging his friend’s vicious murder.

Entering Kansas, Griffith kills a family of homesteaders. When Kaleb Moses and his Ranger friends visit the homestead, they discover sixteen-year-old Polly Olson, who has been brutalized by Griffith, and learn that Polly’s two young siblings have been abducted by an unknown buffalo hunter.

Arriving at the Olson’s sod cabin, Caleb Johnson confronts Kaleb Moses, and the two frontiersmen quickly realize they are kindred spirits. Next morning, Caleb rides south in pursuit of Griffith, while Kaleb rides east, intent on tracking down and retrieving the children. The Rangers escort Polly to Hays City, seeking medical help for the brutalized girl.

Caleb, Kaleb, and the Rangers all have missions to achieve, but there are numerous unknown dangers awaiting each of them, as the West is a land of violent men with a lust for blood.

“Blood Trail to Tahlequah” is the first co-write for celebrated authors Charles Ray and Gary Kamen. Ride along with Caleb and Kaleb as they enter the annals of the wild west’s greatest literary heroes.
