Pettit’s Ranger commander decides that one avenue will be to have someone undercover with the team. J.D., who hasn’t played baseball since high school, is chosen to go undercover.
With a list of potential suspects as long as his arm and a Fourth of July championship game coming up, J.D. finds his skills, both law enforcement and athletic, taxed to their limits. But, he will leave no stone unturned in his quest to find the killer—and win the big game.
