Secrets. Lies. Addiction.Mia:
I’m a recluse. I haven’t always been that way. Once upon a time I was a super-model, traveling the world, posing for photographs and living the fast life.
That was then, and this is now.
After losing all my contracts, my manager and my agent, I’ve been left with nothing.
The last thing I need in my life is the out-of-control Jett Black, keyboard player of the world famous The Dark Notes. He’s angry, violent and battling an addiction that destroys everything in his path. Yet, he won’t take no for an answer. When he touches me, my resolve crumbles. The scariest thing is that he sees me, the real me. One look and I fear all my secrets are going to be told.
If his love were a song, it'd be a dark haunting melodypainful, toxic and cruel.
Jett:
I have wanted her since I met her at an awards show six years ago. She keeps saying no because I have issues she doesn’t want to deal with. Mia isn’t willing to give me a chance unless I get clean. That’s never going to happen because I don’t have a problem. There’s a cost to creativity and I’m willing to pay it.
My sweet little angel thinks everyone plays by the rules. If she says no, I’m supposed to walk away. I don’t play by anybody’s rules but my own. I’m used to getting what I want. If it’s not given, I’ll take it, anyway.
As anyone who knows me could’ve predicted, I ruin everything. The question is never, ‘if’, it’s ‘when.’
Can Jett undo the damage he has done? Can Mia rebuild her life?
Dark Notes: Volume Two is a dark romance with triggering themes.
