Marco Estrada has been trying to acquire Torres Mobile's territory for three years. He has sent eleven offers. He has received eleven refusals, each one more thoroughly documented than the last. He reads her menu updates every Tuesday morning at seven AM. He has been doing this for three years. He has not examined why either.
Offer twelve arrives. The terms are, for the first time, exactly right. She sends a counter-analysis anyway, because the conversation is worth continuing and she knows it and he knows it and neither of them is naming it yet.
Then he calls instead of sending offer thirteen. He says: I've been approaching this wrong. She says: yes. He says: I'd like to propose something different.
Partnership, not acquisition. Her operation, his capital. Her decisions, her name in the clause specifically, three times, because the generic version was wrong.
