After I stopped two dirtbags who tried to abduct a woman from my store, I expected to spend the night talking to the cops before going home to an empty apartment. Instead I found out magic was real, gods like Quetzalcoatl are real, and anyone who tries to cast magic at me gets it bounced back in their face.
