Wes Kerry is out of prison, but murder follows him

Wes Kerry came out of prison after eight years inside for killing. Now he was older and, he hoped, wiser, wanting to get away from the notorious reputation he had made in his youth. He rode to Kansas where his wife and son were living in Twin Ranch Valley, intent upon asking forgiveness and seeking the chance to settle down to a new life.

But the desire to turn his back on the past was doomed to failure. Before he reached Twin Ranch Valley he was forced to kill a man, and when he reached home there was a lot more trouble waiting.

He found his son, now a young man, bitter and unforgiving about the past, and he faced a tough situation the only way he knew how - with steady nerves and a fast gunhand!
