He has a legacy to uphold...

After hearing from his father that trouble is brewing in his home county of Elora, Chet Carver resigns his position as deputy federal marshal and returns to his family's ranch.

Only to come home to his father's funeral...

According to his brother Cal, their father was shot down - a bullet in his back from an unknown gunman.

Aiming to seek justice for his father's murder, Chet decides to investigate around town.

But he's not alone. His partner, Dan Roe, has also come to his home county because of a spate of bank robberies in the town of Buckshot.

The pair soon realise that they've got their work cut out.

The local sheriff, Charlie Bruce is too soft on lawbreakers. While Tatum Foley, the local saloon owner, and Milo Miller, the owner of the Bar M Ranch, both act like they own the county.

As the pair look around for clues, they soon find themselves caught in a gun ambush.

Someone wants them dead and they're determined to send as many gunmen after them until both Carver and Roe are gunsmoked and buried.

A sinister conspiracy is afoot in the town of Buckshot and it's up to Roe and Carver to end it.

To Carver, it's soon obvious that whoever's heading the conspiracy, must have also killed Carver's father.

But just who is their man?

Can Carver and Roe finally bring the strong arm of the law to Elora County?

And will Carver get the justice his Pa so deserves?

With a gun-slinging showdown around every corner, Gunsmoke Legacy is a fast-paced, action-packed Western, and a must read for fans of Zane Grey.
