A Story by

In the spring of 1905, Lady Penelope Penhaligon, esteemed curator of the British Museum and secret author of scandalously steamy pirate novels, finds herself in quite the predicament: she’s boarded the wrong ship.

Instead of sailing to a conference on antique maritime weaponry, she’s now a reluctant guest aboard the Siren’s Revenge, captained by none other than Thaddeus ‘Cutthroat’ Morgan—a real, if slightly outdated, pirate with a taste for theatrics, rum, and poetic monologues.

What begins as a farcical clash between corset-bound propriety and swashbuckling chaos quickly unravels into something far more dangerous: mutual fascination. As Penelope’s carefully ordered world collides with Thaddeus’s rum-soaked rebellion, sparks fly, swords clash, and hearts become terribly uncooperative.

But with scandal chasing them from the high seas to Havana, and secrets threatening to unmoor everything they’ve come to cherish, Penelope must decide: will she return to the safety of the life she knows—or risk it all for a future as wild and wondrous as the pirate by her side?

History has never been this improper.
