I enter the zombie apocalypse with a coupon. Sort of.
One minute I’m on the freeway. The next, the emergency alert goes off, traffic becomes a metal coffin buffet, and I take the first exit that doesn’t look actively cursed.
That exit leads to WonderSphere, a massive theme park with walls, food, water, emergency supplies, and a medium-to-severe zombie problem.
Obviously, I try to buy a ticket.
Obviously, that doesn’t go well.
Which is how I trespass, lose a fight with a hip gate, and accidentally become the proud new owner of an abandoned theme park.
In my defense, there’s a churro cart.
There are also three men I definitely didn’t plan to collect.
Joel is the grumpy operations guy who thinks I’m going to die every time I move, which is rude but not unsupported by evidence.
Beck is a cheerful chaos gremlin in a fish vest who builds zombie traps out of ride parts and keeps applauding when I accidentally kill things.
Grant is the sweet animal doctor who survived with capybaras, a baby wallaby, and enough soft eye contact to turn my bones into pudding.
Now we just have to clear the zombies, fix the walls, call my mom, keep the animals alive, and figure out the whole ‘group heart situation’ before I trip into death.
Easy.
Except for Gregory.
Gregory’s the world’s most persistent zombie, and he keeps interrupting my love life like a rotting little hall monitor.
Gregory’s my problem.
Gregory won’t be receiving a season pass.
