We’re fresh off a tour, and two of our members have left for greener pastures now. Life as an idol in my thirties has become unrecognizable.

I’m not angry with the guys—I’m jealous. I want what they have—happiness, love, whether it's for a new pursuit in my career, or a person. But no matter what I do, I can’t find that spark. Until I end up at the bottom of a bottle and make some questionable decisions with a girl whose name I don’t even know.

She did leave her number written on the vee of my hip, though, so that’s a start. I don’t even care that there’s a number at the end smeared. There are only ten numbers it could be. I’ll just call them all until I find the girl I can’t get out of my mind.

And then I find out she’s engaged to someone else.

I wake up sticky, hot, and sexually satisfied for the first time in years. I can’t remember what changed to make my fiancé want me now, but I don’t want to question this change in fortune. And then I roll over and find myself smashed against one of the most handsome men on the planet. And he is definitely not my Do Hyun.

I panic, because I’m engaged to another man; I have no business being in the bed of another. But a part of me remembers the things he told me, the way he looked at me like I was a work of art, the way his fingers felt against my skin—and I do something very, very stupid.

I write my number in lipstick on the vee of his waistline. And then I kiss it, because this is never going to happen again.

I don't expect him to call me. I definitely don’t expect him to pursue me relentlessly, even while I’m at Do Hyun’s side. And the more I compare the two of them, I realize maybe I don’t want a loveless, arranged marriage anymore.

What I want is a sexy, sweet singer who is so in love with me, his smile makes my heart feel like a bird in flight.
