A baseball team from the east is making tracks to Kansas - aiming to prove their worth for the National League in an exhibition game. But there's more at stake than gamesmanship when they're up against a cur like William Ryker. He'll shoot a dog in the back if it'll score for his own team - and when there's no such thing as fair play, the game only gets hotter....
